I've never had very good luck with the lucky bamboo (which isn't really bamboo, did you know?). Mine has always done really well, beautifully.. then, out of the blue, it browns up and dies.. I'll have to pay attention next time and see if there is something in life that corresponds to the death of the plant. hmmm... never thought about it.
My best friend gave me lucky bamboo a few years ago. It was a sweet gift that I really cherished. Sadly, it just turned brown and died. Perhaps, it already made an imprint of good luck and positive energy around before it withered.
