Last weekend they had the opportunity to get some work done. There was a little accident with a nail gun, however, and they shattered the glass on my deck door. It took 1.5 hours to shatter, and all the glass stayed in the frame. This was originally a solid pane of glass.
I know it has to be fixed, but I really like the pattern.
It actually looks good. The glass panels makers should seriously design some layered tampered glass panels with this pattern in the middle. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThat is really awesome.
ReplyDeleteWow. That is pretty.
ReplyDeleteIs that a Pella window with the blinds between the panes of glass? If so, I wonder how long that will take to replace.
It is too bad it had to be broken to look so neat.
ReplyDeleteI love how the focus is on the shattered glass rather than the accident with the nail gun ! I am so glad that you were not on the other side of that accident!
ReplyDeleteIt looks good. There are quite a few people who pay to have the same design etched in their glass doors. Ironic huh?
ReplyDeleteThat does look pretty cool. Dangerous, but cool. ;)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunate but a beautiful pattern :)
ReplyDeleteThere are no blinds in the glass. I think it's pretty cheap, actually.
ReplyDeleteI suppose I should have been more concerned about the potential nail wounds, but I'm just happy their working on it.
The pieces are starting to fall apart now, so the temporary art is returning to it's entropic state.
