Ok, I was going to say something, but all of your responses are right on! Ditto to all. I've got two myself, same thing. Thanks for the smile.
It has to be Bernie, though with cats it could be both!

The answer: both of them!
Bernie pretty much runs the show. I once watched him reach out with his claw and take food out of Crash's mouth. She pretends to stand up to him, but he just stares her down and then goes to sleep.
As for where I sit, well, I guess it's wherever he allows. Although I can pretty much sit on top of him and he will just ignore me rather than give me the satisfaction of moving.
They are entertaining beasts, however.
Sure you just got the third place in the line.
