McCain on SNL

I just caught McCain's appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Sure, it had the mark of candidate that had nothing to lose, but it was quite well done. McCain didn't take himself too seriously, seemed relaxed, played well off Tina Fey's Sarah Palin, and he still got his message across.

The McCain Pork Knives were a nice touch. And I got a kick out of the McCain Fine Gold.

The Palin in 2012 bit was good aside, too.

All in all, well done, John. It was a nice way to show a lighter side, with some self deprication, and still maintain your dignity.

You can see the McCain SNL video here.

deprecation (spelled incorrectly)

I agree. I think if the SNL McCain had been around for the last few months, it would have been a closer race.

OK, I really thought this was great! Kuddos to Sarah and John for appearing on SNL.

I enjoyed the skit too...

McCain is a decent and wise man. What more does he need to prove to others or to himself? Not Much...

He is most definitely comfortable in his own skin. And any attempt at knocking him down with words will be utterly futile!
