Breakfast at sunrise

I took this picture on my way to CES last month. My flight left at 6:30 AM while it was still dark. I got a great view of the sunrise at 35,000 feet.

And purely by accident, I also captured a reflection of my breakfast in the window. I didn't realize I did that until I looked at the pictures on my computer.

Beautiful shot. I love looking at sunrises in flight. Nothing like it anywhere else. Oh, and it looks like your breakfast is on the wing.

Most beautifulest and misidentifying egg I've ever seen.

the food comes through very realistic! Many things going on...

How beautiful! I used to fly from Salt Lake to San Francisco once a month at dawn and got to see the sunrise for about an hour! Sometimes I got to see the sun rise twice.

Isn't it nice to have a "surprise" photo now and then?

@Success with Women: Actually its mini scones and some fruit.

@Kathy: That's actually the smoking section on Alaska Airlines. If it was US Air I suppose it would be the diving board.

@Tulip's Talking: It's funny how those things show up when you just stop and look.

@Shinade: Well, there was a clock melting over it, but I used that as butter.

@C.B. Jones: I think it's interesting how everyone sees something different on the plate. People must be hungry.

@storybeader: At that hour, I might have eaten it even if it was wax. I'm not so much with the early morning awareness.

@Paula Williams: I've doubled up on sunsets crossing the Rockies a couple times.

@Carol: It is. I just have to resist the temptation to say, "I meant to do that."

@Gypsy@Heart: I fly Alaska often enough that they sometimes take pity on my and let me ride in the front of the bus.
