The Hampton Inn in St. Charles, MO, decided I needed a room mate. So they made me a swan.

I bet you felt good when you saw the swan and you have told others about your experience. Good PR for them and a 'feel good experience for you'. Everyone wins...

I like these little amenities in hotels. Have tried to learn how to do these kind.

When I was in Cuba, I would leave a tip for the housekeeping daily, and whenever I returned to my room, my fresh towels would always be arranged into something new. They seemed to get more elaborate each day. A shell, a swan, a palm tree, etc.
