Badminton?

You Are Badminton

You are quite talented but not very appreciated.

You are detail oriented, very focused, and agile.

You are happy to forsake glory for success in something you truly love.

Yeah, okay. I guess.

But Badminton? I'm sure the Olympic Badminton players really are world class and I respect them for reaching that level of success, but still. It's not exactly the "coolest" of the Olympic events. I mean, sure, it's cooler than Mens Synchronized Diving, but still.

Aww, who am I kidding. I'd be lucky to be as hip as Badminton.

Maybe it's just a US thing. Is Badminton more popular over seas? Is it something Americans just don't get?

In other words, is Badminton actually a small court version of Soccer?

Very VERY funny! "a small court version of soccer" Yes, we don't get it! I didn't know you were going to write a humor column too!

I would have been proud to have been Badminton with you. However,

"You Are Gymnastics

You are agile, expressive, and precise.
You have the drive to practice until you get something perfectly right.

And you have the confidence to perform difficult moves when under pressure."

Badminton is a very popular game in Asia. The countries that excel in it are China, Indonesia, Denmark and Malaysia.

There are two sports that are world famous yet surprisingly not well known in USA. One of them is soccer. The other is Formula One. Believe me, any country outside USA love these two sports and they attract millions of fans!

@doug: Thanks.I appreciate that.

@ldk: An now you can be proud to be a gymnast. I can see that.

@the natural state hawg: It could be worse.

@foonpc: I didn't know Formula 1 was popular in Asia. I always thought of that as more of a European thing. I know very little about it besides it being related some how to the Indianapolis 500.

@self defense rob: Of course. Phelps is the new Chuck Norris.
